How we work / The rotation
A year.
Not a rush.
We don’t work fast. We work so you don’t have to redo it.
Identity, websites, and the care that comes after. One considered cycle.
The four seasons of a project
The first month / Fieldwork
First, leave
some room.
No layouts. No logo options. We visit, listen, read, and watch. We talk to the people who will use the work, including the ones who don’t know you yet.
You receive a field report: what we learned, what matters, and a clear brief for what comes next. It is a working document, not a theatrical reveal.
What you leave withA shared brief, a content map, and fewer assumptions.
Spring / Brand identity
A useful
beginning.
We find the visual and verbal language that belongs to your world. Type, colour, a mark if you need one, and words that sound like the people behind them.
We try it on things you actually use: a bag, a timetable, a small screen. An identity should work on an ordinary Tuesday, not only on the presentation slide.
What you leave withAn identity system, practical applications, and a short guide you will actually open.
Summer into autumn / Website
Made to work.
Built to last.
We turn the brief into a clear, accessible website. Ingrid shapes the pages and content. Mateo builds them with light code and as few dependencies as the job allows.
We test real tasks with real people, check small screens and keyboards, and teach you how to look after what we have made. Then we launch when it is ready. There is a date. There is also judgement.
What you leave withA working website, tested journeys, and an unhurried handover.
Winter / Aftercare
We stay for
the weather.
A website meets its real brief after launch. We watch how people use it, talk to the people updating it, and make the small repairs that keep it useful.
Our first winter review is part of the project. Ongoing care is agreed around what you need: a seasonal check, occasional help, or a longer arrangement. We explain the work before it becomes a bill.
What you leave withA winter review, sensible improvements, and a person who knows the site.
Some useful boundaries
The things
we hold to.
- 01
Three projects. Every year.
We leave enough space to do each one properly, and enough time to care for the ones already out in the world.
- 02
Light on purpose.
Our target is under 300 KB per page. We make deliberate exceptions when the content earns them. No pop-ups. No borrowed urgency.
- 03
One conversation about money.
We agree a scope, a fixed project fee, and staged payments after the field report. The first month has its own agreed fee. You can stop there with something useful.
- 04
Direct contact with the makers.
You work with Ingrid and Mateo, from the first email to the winter review. There is no account manager translating between us.
